What Kid Makes More than a CEO and Still Wears Diapers?

Nope, it’s not Blue Ivy!  I’m sure that’s who you were thinking but Blue Ivy isn’t in diapers still I don’t think.

50 Cent’s son, Sire Jackson, was just given a $700,000 modeling contract and he is still scared to walk down the cat walk by himself.

Just recently for a fashion show, he was startled with all the people and his mother had to carry him down the cat walk.

sire jackson3

How cute is that?  Him with him mommy.

Daphne Joy is a really pretty model herself.  Daphne Joy and 50 Cent conceived this beautiful little boy together.

Here is 50 Cent at the fashion show with them both.

Good luck with your modeling job Sire.  We’ll see you soon on plenty commercials with your cuterful little self!

10 Nutritional Deficiencies That May Cause Depression
By Therese Borchard
Published Nov 14, 2014

I’m not sure why more psychiatrists don’t first test for nutritional deficiencies before dispensing Zoloft or Prozac, and especially antipsychotics like Seroquel and Zyprexa. The good ones will send you to get lab work done before upping your meds or adjusting anything. Sometimes we do need antidepressants. But other times we need spinach — think of Popeye.

In addition to seeing a psychiatrist regularly, I now work with an integrative health physician who tests my nutrition levels every year. If you haven’t ever tested your nutrition levels, you might inquire with either your psychiatrist or primary-care physician. The supplements can be expensive, but you can make it back two- or threefold by not having to see your psychiatrist as often. You should talk to your doctor before taking any supplements, especially if you’re on prescription drugs.

1. Omega-3 Fatty Acids

I was surprised when my results showed an omega-3 fatty acid deficiency because I eat plenty of salmon and take fish oil supplements every day. That shows you just how much fish — salmon, tuna, halibut — or flaxseeds and walnuts we need to consume to be at an optimal level. These essential minerals reduce inflammation and play a critical role in brain function, especially memory and mood. The body can’t make them, so you need to either eat them or take supplements. Omega-3 fatty acids are just one of the supplements I take every day for depression.

2. Vitamin D

According to Mark Hyman, MD, bestselling author of The Ultramind Solution, vitamin D deficiency is a major epidemic that doctors and public health officials are just beginning to recognize. This deficiency has been linked to depression, dementia, and autism. Most of our levels drop off during the fall and winter months, since sunlight is the richest source. Dr. Hyman believes that we should ideally be getting 5,000 to 10,000 IU (international units) a day. However, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) recommends most healthy adults get only about 600 IUs daily.

3. Magnesium

Chances are good that you are magnesium-deficient because up to half of Americans are. Our lifestyles decrease our levels: excess alcohol, salt, coffee, sugar, phosphoric acid (in soda), chronic stress, antibiotics, and diuretics (water pills). Magnesium is sometimes referred to as the stress antidote, the “most powerful relaxation mineral that exists,” according to Hyman. It is found in seaweed, greens, and beans. The NIH recommends a daily intake of about 400 to 420 milligrams (mg) of magnesium for adult men and 310 to 320 mg for adult women.

4. Vitamin B Complex

B vitamins like vitamin B-6 and vitamin B-12 can provide some incredible health benefits, including reduced stroke risk and healthy skin and nails. On the other hand, a vitamin B deficiency may impact your mental health. More than a quarter of severely depressed older women were deficient in B-12, according to one 2009 study.

The best sources of vitamin B-6 are poultry, seafood, bananas, and leafy green vegetables. For vitamin B-6, the NIH recommends a daily intake of 1.7 mg for adult men, and 1.5 mg for adult women. Vitamin B-12 is found in animal foods (meat, fish, poultry, eggs, and milk) and shellfish, such as clams, mussels, and crab. Most adults should need to consume 2.4 micrograms (mcg) of vitamin B-12 daily, according to the NIH.

5. Folate

People with a low folate level have only a 7 percent response to treatment with antidepressants. Those with high folate levels have a response of 44 percent, according to Hyman. That is why many psychiatrists are now prescribing a folate called Deplin to treat depression and improve the effectiveness of an antidepressant. I tried it and it didn’t seem to make that much of a difference; however, I have several friends who have had very positive responses to Deplin. You need not try the prescription form of Deplin. You could just start taking a folate supplement and see if you get any results. Your daily recommended folate intake depends on your gender, whether you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, and age. However, most adults need at least 400 mcg daily. You can also get your daily folate requirements by consuming foods high in folate, including dark leafy greens, beans and legumes, and citrus fruits and juices.

6. Amino Acids

Amino acids — the building blocks of protein — help your brain properly function. A deficiency in amino acids may cause you to feel sluggish, foggy, unfocused, and depressed. Good sources of amino acids include beef, eggs, fish, beans, seeds, and nuts.

7. Iron

Iron deficiency is pretty common in women. About 20 percent of women, and 50 percent of pregnant women, are in the club. Only three percent of men are iron deficient. The most common form of anemia — an insufficient number of red blood cells — is caused by iron deficiency. Its symptoms are similar to depression: fatigue, irritability, brain fog. Most adults should consume 8 to 18 mg of iron daily, depending on age, gender, and diet, according to the NIH. Good sources of iron include red meat, fish, and poultry. If you really want to get more red blood cells, eat liver. Yuck.

8. Zinc

Zinc is used by more enzymes (and we have over 300) than any other mineral. It is crucial to many of our systems. It activates our digestive enzymes so that we can break down our food, and works to prevent food allergies (which, in turn, averts depression in some people, since some of our mood disruptions are triggered by food allergies). It also helps our DNA to repair and produce proteins. Finally, zinc helps control inflammation and boosts our immune system. The NIH recommends a daily intake of 11 mg of zinc for adult men and 8 mg for adult women.

9. Iodine

Iodine deficiency can be a big problem because iodine is critical for the thyroid to work as it should, and the thyroid affects more than you think: your energy, metabolism, body temperature, growth, immune function, and brain performance (concentration, memory, and more). When it’s not functioning properly, you can feel very depressed, among other things. You can get iodine by using an iodine-enriched salt, or by eating dried seaweed, shrimp, or cod. I take a kelp supplement every morning because I have hypothyroidism. The daily recommend amount of iodine for most adults is about 150 mcg.

10. Selenium

Like iodine, selenium is important for good thyroid function. It assists the conversion of inactive thyroid hormone T4 to the active thyroid hormone, T3. It also helps one of our important antioxidants (glutathione peroxidase) keep polyunsaturated acids in our cell membranes from getting oxidized (rancid). Most adults need about 55 mcg of selenium daily. The best food source of selenium is Brazil nuts, which contains about 544 mcg of selenium per ounce.

Garbage Man Jailed For Picking Up Trash Too Early!

Garbage Man Jailed For Picking Up Trash Too Early!

You read that completely right, a sanitation worker here in Atlanta was sentenced to 30 days in JAIL for picking up trash too early!!!!!

Apparently, Sandy Springs has an ordinance that trash pick-up can only occur from 7 am to 7 pm and that’s that.  This worker came and picked up trash at 5 am and that is what prompted someone in the neighborhood to call 9-1-1.  They actually called 9-1-1, not 4-1-1 for non emergencies but 9-1-1.  I don’t get how that’s not something punishable by the law.  Remember that guy that called 9-1-1 for a date?  That’s pretty much the same thing.  No one should be calling 9-1-1 because their sleep is being disrupted for a free service that helps them out.

Anywho, the prosecutor feels as though warnings are not enough so this man was sentenced to 30 days to be split over 14 weekends!  ARE YOU FREAKIN SERIOUS RIGHT NOW???!!!!!  You are taking a hard working man and putting him in jail for disobeying an ordinance of this nature?  Hell, people being stalked don’t get this much justice.  You have to go through hell and high water to get the police to take care of so many LEGITIMATE things and yet this is what they decide to punish someone for?  I know people who’ve had weed in the car and got off with a warning.  Hell, people pulled over for DUIs sleep it off in jail and sign themselves out the next day and get probation or a fine in the end.

As you can probably sense, I’m just a little ticked off by this.  The sanitation worker has never ever done this before and he would’ve learned from the court experience in itself if you ask me or maybe just a fine.  When you mess with people’s money, they normally don’t repeat that behavior unless they just don’t care.  And if that was the case, fine him more, but jail is just too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you think?  Read the whole article from the link first and let me know.

Maleficent is My Movie!

Maleficent is My Movie!

My, my, my, I love, love, love a great fantasy movie but with real life lessons you can learn from.

I’m a little late on the Maleficent wagon but it was all that I thought it should be but with a great twist.  Angelina Jolie is my girl and she was gorge in this movie, pointy cheek bones and all!

Basically, you have a beautiful fairy girl (Maleficent) who falls in love with a human boy (Stefan) and he eventually breaks her heart when they’re in their teens by going off and not returning until years later.  He only returns to warn her that the King wants to take over her enchanted lands (the Moors) and wants her dead and whoever brings it to him or shows proof of her death will inherit the kingdom.  Since Stefan was the only person who could get close to Maleficent, instead of killing her he cuts off her wings as “payment” for the crown.  The King felt as though Maleficent were dead since Stefan brought her wings.  He didn’t check the barcode on them to make sure they were hers or nothing.

After Maleficent has her wings torn off, she is scorned by what she thought was her true love and her world becomes engulfed in darkness, hatred and fury.  Maleficent makes friends with a bird or something that she turns into a human (Diaval) and he indebts himself to her for saving his life.  He basically acts as her wings since hers were sawed off by Stefan.  Diaval finds out that Stefan and his queen have had a baby girl and that all the people among the lands will be attending her christening.  Maleficent shows up at the christening (like if your ex showed up at your wedding) and of course Stefan is mortified because he knows what he’s done to her and that he lied to the King (before his death) about killing her to get the kingdom.  Right then and there, Maleficent casts a spell on the new princess Aurora that on her 16th birthday she shall prick her finger on the needle of a spinning wheel and fall into a sleep like death, only to be awakened by true loves kiss.

Well, Stefan goes crazy and orders 3 good fairies to take Aurora to a secluded cottage in the country to raise her and keep her safe and away from any spinning wheels.  He orders that the fairies keep her there until the day after her 16th birthday so that she will be out of harms way of the spell.  The whole time that Aurora is with the 3 fairies, Diaval and Maleficent watch over her also because the fairies don’t know how to take care of a human baby.  Maleficent actually keeps her out of harms way, feeds her, and one day when Aurora is a little girl, she walks up on Maleficent and Maleficent picks her up!  All the while Aurora is in Maleficent’s arms, she feels on Maleficent’s face and horns because she is not afraid of her.

Aurora grows up and it’s coming upon her 16th birthday.  Maleficent is in the forest one day and puts Aurora in a spell and brings her into the Moors to gaze upon the magnificence of the magical land of the Moors.  Aurora is in awe and tells Maleficent that she knows who she is…. her fairy godmother and she’s always seen her shadow and known that Maleficent watches over her.  Maleficent’s reaction to being called a fairy godmother is priceless!  After this, Aurora and Maleficent spend all the time in the world together and become very close to where Aurora says she would like to stay in the Moors with Maleficent all of her days.  She goes to tell the 3 fairies (her fake aunts) that she will be leaving home and one of them spills the beans about taking her back to her father the day after the next.  They also spill the beans about the spell cast by Maleficent and Aurora confronts Maleficent about it then leaves the cottage for the kingdom.  She is not met with a warm embrace though.  The whole time Aurora’s been gone, Stefan went mad trying to figure out a way to kill Maleficent.  The queen passes away in Aurora’s absence also.  Upon seeing Aurora, Stefan immediately has the guards lock her away in her room until the day after her birthday.  I mean, there was no I love you, I missed you Aurora or nothing.  He just says how she looks just like her mother.

While in her room, Aurora hears a calling from a captivating voice luring her to the spinning wheel room where all the wheels were locked away.  Why they weren’t all burned to a crisp, I have no idea.  For reasons I cannot understand Aurora does the unthinkable.  She purposefully pricks her finger on a needle and falls into that sleep like death.

I’ll leave the ending for you to see on your own because it’s the bomb.  I was sooo surprised at the ending and you will be too but I loved the message.

Maleficent is on HBO and I’m sure at any discount movie theaters or Redbox near you.

Check it out and let me know how YOU liked it.

Man Steals His Newborn From Hospital

Oh, my word, this story was unbelievable when I saw it yesterday.

This man literally stole his own baby from the hospital in a shopping bag like you get from Abercrombie and Fitch.  He was able to slip out of an emergency exit undetected although the baby had on the leg bracelet to “prevent” her from getting out.

He took his baby because he was fearful the social services people would take the child from him and his wife or whatever because drugs were in her system.

She not only had drugs in her system, she had meth, weed, and the ultimate…morphine, in her system.  The hospital had already called social services so the man thought he could get away with her before they got up there.  He wrapped her in blankets and put her in this bag.

baby stolen

You know, for 9 months, you can think about someone other than yourself when you’re pregnant.  My thing is, it’s a freakin miracle that the baby is alive.  Secondly, they both should go to jail and rehab afterwards in order to even be in the presence of this baby again in the future.

It makes no sense.  They know that the authorities drug test babies and this was going to come up.  They actually had the baby at home and then took her to the hospital to get checked out I guess but this baby has been through hell and back.

Sex and Good Health

Sex and Good Health

You may have heard it before but it is true that sex can be a really healthy activity.

This article basically solidifies that fact.

I know from personal experience that sex helps me sleep and has relieved several headaches for me.  I don’t know how it helped with the headache.  I guess women have to stop using that lie to avoid sex.  LOL!

Anywho, the article in short says that sex can help reduce the risk of heart disease.  I can see that because you are doing cardio and increase that heart rate working it out.  Awesome!

It also said what I’ve already experienced, you can sleep a lot better and it can relieve pain.  Isn’t that cool?  I’ve been in a clinical trial on my own.  LOL

Anywho, check out the article below from msn.com and increase your healthy and safe sexual activity for longer life.
