Hey Cocoa Drops!
I saw this news story yesterday on the Channel 2 News here in Atlanta about a new mother who was impacted by the torrential rains we’ve had here.
Yudelka Salcedo literally woke up and stepped out of bed in water a foot tall in her duplex apartment. Â The day before she was discharged from the hospital after having her new baby, Kenton. Â Her neighbors had to rescue her and the baby out of her window!
I was so touched about her story that I literally called Channel 2 and asked how I could help her. Â She lost everything for her new baby and I was heartbroken. Â I know how it is to be a new mom. Â You feel weird on the inside, tired, and then to have this dumped on top of you, it’s horrible.
Well, I spoke to Yudelka personally and it was amazing. Â I didn’t know that the news station was going to give me her direct number so when I called the number and Yudelka answered, it was like Michelle Obama was on the phone because I was so taken aback.
Needless to say she and Kenton will be getting a visit from KT and myself later today.  We are going to show her how much we care about her and take her new baby some things and give her a gift card to get other stuff she needs.
Cocoa Drops, when you see things happening in your city or WHEREVER, nowadays, we can do something and when you can you SHOULD!!!!!!!
We will be sure to take some pics and post them after our visit. Â Yudelka’s baby is so adorable it’s ridiculous.

Oooooh, oooh, on the realitytea.com website, I just found out that the Feds are after all the money that Apollo Nida made from the Real Housewives of Atlanta!
They (the Feds) just served Bravo and True Entertainment because they were holding money that they would’ve paid because they knew if they released it, the feds were going to snatch it up. Â Oh well, that’s not there call to make if you ask me. Â Apollo owes $1.9 million in restitution! Â I’d rather they go ahead and take some of that before I get out but knowing him, he would never pay it to those people he screwed.
I wonder since Phaedra is still married to him if they can come after her at a certain point. Â Nevertheless, this is another wrinkle in straightening out the Nidagate scandal.

I do not feel so bad about feeling like I can’t fit in a certain little sports car. Â I always thought about those little cars and how the athletes rush to get them if they actually fit in them comfortably.
Well, it turns out that not all of them can drive all their dream cars.
Arthur Jones of the Colts found out first hand that Corvettes don’t fit 6 foot 3, 337 pounders. Â The funny thing is, he didn’t find this out before buying the Corvette. Â I guess he had one of his handlers purchase it for him and deliver it to his home then tried to get into it and was like “oops”. Â LMAO
Here’s a pic of Mr. Jones (Sexy Jones is what I call him) and his elusive dream car, shall we call her The Tempstress. Â LOL!
In the article, TheSportsStaff suggested a hummer but I think he can get a custom Corvette to fit his frame. Â He just needs to call whoever outfits Shaq’s automobiles. Â Even the hummer didn’t fit him. Â LOL

Next to Iggy is, what I’m calling, an actress that forgot to turn in her American Horror Story outfit after the scene change. Â That mess is ill-fitting and horrible. Â It’s like something you might throw on to run to the corner store while you’re doing laundry cause your good clothes being washed. Â Uuuugggghhh, don’t wear this again Hailee Steinfeld.
While David Lee Roth is a legend and made one of my favorite songs “Jump”, this suit should JUMP it’s ass back in the closet! Â I hate suits like this that match all the way down.
All hail the Queen of the Hamburger! Â Mariah Carey is finally fat y’all! Â She still looks great but I remember when Mariah was snatched in all areas. Â After babies, your body is just never the same. Â She looks good but I would’ve like to see her in some color.

Â This is the look she had to be going for baby cause that outfit threw me back to George Clinton and the Parliament to Daft Punk back to Earth Wind and Fire all wrapped up in one with a little Chris Brown on top. Â She obviously wanted to be the topic of conversation and for all of us that had no idea who she was to look her up and make it so that she trends. Â NOT! Â I did not look her up to contribute to her trending progress. Â Sorry boo boo, not today.
Now, Miss Taylor Swift needs a steak and potatoes IV (intravenous). Â She is too thin to me and that’s not sexy. Â They need to put her in the hospital and give her some protein immediately to thicken her up a little bit. Â Hell, they have to hold her down when the air conditioner comes on!
Kylie and Kendall are polar opposites. Â Kyle is a mini Kim and Kendall to me is just gorgeous!

Mr. Bryshere L. Gray from Empire is as cute as he can be. Â I love them lips but this suit looks like some wallpaper at Woolworth if anyone remembers that store from back in the day.
All I can say is God Bless America for allowing all of us the freedom of expression. Â Some of us just need a few more classes or to hire Mary J. Blige’s stylist to step their game up.

I’m sorry but I just believe that if you are entrusted with the delicate responsibility of caring a child, for those 9, literally 10 months, you just need to take it all the way easy.
I’ve had 2 bucket-headed babies and I love them dearly. Â When I was preggers with both of them, I just took it easy and tried to do everything I could to ensure they would be healthy. Â Whether it was sleeping on my back the whole time, not eating spicy food, not perming my hair the first trimester, or whatever, I did it. Â Now, one thing I didn’t have to worry about then was flying because I just flew for the first time 2 years ago. Â Hilarious, I know.
Anywho, this Iowa mother, Wendy Morrow, got clearance from her doctor that while SEVEN months pregnant, she could fly.  Now, I’m not sure if the doctor knew where she wanted to fly to but it wasn’t a 5 hour flight.  She was flying to China for her brother’s wedding!!!!!
As soon as girlfriend tried to board the plane to get to the next destination Xiamen, China from Hong Kong International Airport, her watereth broketh! Â Yes it did hunny!
Baby Kyuss was born 2-3 months early on May 7th (depending on how you count the weeks) and was automatically put in the ICU there in Hong Kong.
Kyuss is not covered on Wendy’s health insurance and the medical bills are insane. Â The hospital there has a policy that the bill has to be paid before they will issue a birth certificate and then to get out of the country, the Embassy has to see the baby to issue the passport or whatever for him to travel to the U.S.
So, the Morrow family is just stressed with the entire situation and I never want to imagine anything like this happening. Â Not only is your baby early but you’re in a foreign country and without the insurance coverage you need.
I’m VERY, VERY, VERY disappointed in our U.S. Embassy for not paying her medical bills at the hospital and getting them back to the U.S. point blank period! Â If we can negotiate to bring hostages home or pay for them, blah blah blah, why in the world can’t our citizens get the help that they need in a crisis situation like this????? Â That little bitty money for those medical bills is a drop in the bucket. Â Where are philanthropists when you need them? Â Like, Bill Gates or Oprah, hell it could be Larry Flint for all I care should pay their way home.
As of now, they have multiple fundraisers established even a GoFundMe account called Bring Baby Kyuss Home. Â The hospital has been paid a certain amount by an unknown source for the birth certificate to be released and I’m not sure where they are with the passport or his release from the hospital.
I just pray that Wendy and Kyuss can get home SOON! Â Oh yeah, it’s just her and they baby. Â Her husband and 4-year-old couldn’t fly over for the wedding so imagine how Mr. Morrow feels about being so helpless.
Let’s send our love and assistance to the Morrow family for baby Kyuss!
