6 Ways to Communicate Better in Your Relationship

Communication is one of the most important keys in all relationships. It’s important for your partner and you to communicate freely with no hesitation, It’s better to talk about things you want your partner to know rather than keeping them from him/her! By keeping things from your significant other you may not helping the situation, because you will add more problems to it.

Communicate Better in Your Relationship

Here are 10 ways to improve your communication skills and make a better relationship:

1-Spend More Time Together Daily:

It means make time for your partner and put aside other things you want to do, People want to feel important and this is the one simple step to show your partner how important He/she is for you. Watching TV is not count as spending time. going out on a date night is one of the popular ones, you have time to talk about your week or ask your partner to support you on some situations you may need help( emotionally or financially) .

2- Understand Your Partner:

In any communication between two people it’s important to let your partner know that you respect his/her opinion. Never use words like “Always” “never” and … . relationships are 50-50 You cannot blame your partner for everything and otherwise . Be open to her/his opinion and let your partner talk .

3- Don’t Assume:

Assumption is the killer of communication, Don’t make assumption specially in a serious relationships. Having conclusion without discussing it with your partner is one big mistake. You never know what was in your partner’s mind unless you have a brief talk about it.

4- Honesty:

Honesty is an important key in communications and relationships. Be honest and straightforward; Speak your mind and let your partner know what is going on. It’s better to discuss everything before making any decisions rather than having problems later because you didn’t say exactly what you wanted!

5- Touch Each Other:

Use your hands and your eyes, make direct eye contact and touch each other during your talk, Don’t forget you are partners and you both want to find the best solutions. Smile and don’t be so serous about things.

6- Don’t use Electronic Devices:

Never Ever text or Email your partner to discuss things that are important for you. Face to face communications are the best, use a private room and sit with your partner to talk. Using cellphones and internet just put you in some situations which you don’t have control over it, If you are seeking for answers to your problems it’s better do it face to face .

Men vs. Women and these wack ass double standards

This really annoys the hell out of me. Especially when it comes to the sex thing. A man will call a woman a ho for sleeping with him, but he will turn around and sleep with two more women that same week and he will be a player.  Straight bullshit.

If a woman is confident about her sexuality, her sensuality, and not afraid to speak about them she is looked upon as a slut and over-sexed. Then if a woman meets a guy and decides to give up the draws, he looks at her as a piece of ass. Really? No, she was horny, wanted some “D” and got the D.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not advocating that men and women should be screwing like rabbits, but if a woman chooses to do so, she shouldn’t be referred to as a ho.

What exactly is a ho anyway? In case you didn’t know, it’s slang for whore. A whore is a paid for providing services of a sexual nature. Male or female. That is the oldest profession that ain’t going anywhere. Sometimes you think they may have it right? Everybody else is boning for free. Nah, that leaves too much control for the buyer. No, thank you.

Then there is the married couple. How many husbands have cheated on their wives and are forgiven for their “little” indiscretion, but as soon as the wife cheats or thinks about cheating he calls her a slut, wants to whoop her ass, or wants to leave. Now who is weak? Men can’t take the same treatment at all.

A woman who has the attitude of the meme below is still considered taboo in most circles. She better not speak about it. She better not speak about about wanting the cocoa stick period. She watches porn?  Ho. She buys toys? Ho. She masturbates? Ho. She craves sex more than her dude? Ho. That’s stinking thinking right there. It’s unfair.

I hope someday we can be looked upon as equals, but until then I will continue to not give two shits about their opinions and live my life as I see fit. Being uninhibited sexually can be a freeing thing. Some people should try it. They’d have less medical issues. 😉

This is just one wack ass double standard, what are some others that you are familiar with? We’d love to hear from you. 🙂
