Hey Cocoa Drops!
I saw this news story yesterday on the Channel 2 News here in Atlanta about a new mother who was impacted by the torrential rains we’ve had here.
Yudelka Salcedo literally woke up and stepped out of bed in water a foot tall in her duplex apartment. The day before she was discharged from the hospital after having her new baby, Kenton. Her neighbors had to rescue her and the baby out of her window!
I was so touched about her story that I literally called Channel 2 and asked how I could help her. She lost everything for her new baby and I was heartbroken. I know how it is to be a new mom. You feel weird on the inside, tired, and then to have this dumped on top of you, it’s horrible.
Well, I spoke to Yudelka personally and it was amazing. I didn’t know that the news station was going to give me her direct number so when I called the number and Yudelka answered, it was like Michelle Obama was on the phone because I was so taken aback.
Needless to say she and Kenton will be getting a visit from KT and myself later today. We are going to show her how much we care about her and take her new baby some things and give her a gift card to get other stuff she needs.
Cocoa Drops, when you see things happening in your city or WHEREVER, nowadays, we can do something and when you can you SHOULD!!!!!!!
We will be sure to take some pics and post them after our visit. Yudelka’s baby is so adorable it’s ridiculous.

Oooooh, oooh, on the realitytea.com website, I just found out that the Feds are after all the money that Apollo Nida made from the Real Housewives of Atlanta!
They (the Feds) just served Bravo and True Entertainment because they were holding money that they would’ve paid because they knew if they released it, the feds were going to snatch it up. Oh well, that’s not there call to make if you ask me. Apollo owes $1.9 million in restitution! I’d rather they go ahead and take some of that before I get out but knowing him, he would never pay it to those people he screwed.
I wonder since Phaedra is still married to him if they can come after her at a certain point. Nevertheless, this is another wrinkle in straightening out the Nidagate scandal.

I am sooooo excited that the Atlanta Hawks have made it to their first Eastern Conference Final since the 1980s!!!!
I just need them to do something with this and bring us a championship!

I do not feel so bad about feeling like I can’t fit in a certain little sports car. I always thought about those little cars and how the athletes rush to get them if they actually fit in them comfortably.
Well, it turns out that not all of them can drive all their dream cars.
Arthur Jones of the Colts found out first hand that Corvettes don’t fit 6 foot 3, 337 pounders. The funny thing is, he didn’t find this out before buying the Corvette. I guess he had one of his handlers purchase it for him and deliver it to his home then tried to get into it and was like “oops”. LMAO
Here’s a pic of Mr. Jones (Sexy Jones is what I call him) and his elusive dream car, shall we call her The Tempstress. LOL!
In the article, TheSportsStaff suggested a hummer but I think he can get a custom Corvette to fit his frame. He just needs to call whoever outfits Shaq’s automobiles. Even the hummer didn’t fit him. LOL
