I Loooove Broccoli
I can never get enough of cheese and broccoli and this recipe from alidaskitchen.com gives me just that with a mix of quinoa.
Broccoli Cheddar Quinoa Bites
Serves: 30 to 36 bites
Ingredients
- ¾ cup uncooked quinoa, rinsed
- 1½ cups water (or vegetable broth or chicken broth)
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 cups broccoli florets, finely diced
- 1 cup yellow onion, finely diced
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Crushed red pepper (optional) to taste
Instructions
- In a medium sauce pan, combine quinoa and water (or broth) and cook according to package directions. Let cool.
- In a large bowl, combine cooled quinoa, eggs, broccoli, onion, garlic, cheese and paprika.
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray mini-muffin tins with cooking spray.
- Put a heaping tablespoonful of quinoa mixture into prepared muffin cups. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until edges turn golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes and then gently remove from pan to cool completely.

Getting Creative with Granola n Apples
Pinterest strikes again with the neat recipes for healthy eating.

Ingredients
- 2 apples, sliced into wedges
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup granola, your favorite
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, for sprinkling
- Semisweet chocolate chips, optional*
Preparation
Coat tops of apple wedges in peanut butter and sprinkle with granola and cinnamon.

American Horror Story: Freakshow Finale
Oh my goodness! I understand at the end of each season everything must come to an end, but dammit why did Dandy have to kill every freak he could find in the first 20 minutes?! And with a single revolver? No reloads? Ugh. I feel some type of way about that. I’m glad to see the survivors are about to torture his sadistic ass!
One thing I can appreciate about this show on FX is that each story becomes complete within the season. It doesn’t drag on unless you’re Elsa. Jessica Lange is playing the hell out of her character each season. She’s an awesome actress!
I can wait to see the theme for next season! I encourage you to watch it on Netflix.

CDs, I just recently fell in love with Eloquii. They are another well-known site for the gorge plus size woman. Do it girls!!!!
Don’t be startled by the prices right out. They ALWAYS have the best sales going on and if you have a friend, you can tag team when they have their BOGOs. That’s actually how I got started with them. My co-worker shops with them all the time and she is a plus size woman. She told me one day that they were having a BOGO and we got a dress a piece.
The first dress I ever bought is the leopard one in the picture below. The jacket below is a show stopper. I’ve never had so many compliments in one day until I wore this jacket. It made me do an impromptu fashion show in the bathroom at work. LOL
Now, during the holidays, I went crazy with them due to their sales. Their clothes are amazingly crafted. The material is thick and durable. It’s very, very much worth the full price once you feel the fabrics and feel it on your skin. I have the black and white shirt too below.

Hi ladies, Torrid is a great store for plus size women like me where we can embrace our beautiful curves and look fabs!
I’ve been shopping online with them for years but when I moved to Atlanta, your girl found out they have actual stores!
Now, I won’t lie to you, their clothes can be a bit pricey but they last forever and in the long run that’s a true bargain. I normally wait until they have BOGO or 30-40% off and their clearance sales are always worth it. Also, they have Haute Cash that you can accumulate during certain periods and use in the future to buy clothes half price basically.
When you first start out shopping, you have to find your fit. Sometimes I can wear 2 sizes smaller in some jeans and one size bigger in other cuts. The same can be said for the tops. I’ve bought 2 pairs of shoes from them and they even have boots for us chicks with bigger calves. I use reviews to help me out sometimes if I’m buying a design of jeans I’ve never worn before. With the jewelry, I love their rings, earrings, and necklaces but the bracelet sets are plus and are always too big for my arm.

She Did Whaaaaat????????
Are you freakin kiddin me???????????? This chick pictured above (courtesy of dailymail.com) just recently drove to a neighborhood in New Jersey, politely got out of her car, put her newborn baby in the middle of the road, and set the baby on fire! Who in the hell does stuff like this? Oh yeah, a crazy 22-year-old named Hyphemkimberly Dorvilier. Yes, you saw that right. As I was typing this, spell check underlined her name in red and I could do was press “add to dictionary”. Honey, this child’s name is like something out of the 76th round of a damn spelling bee. The round where just the little Indian boy and Asian girl are in cause my ass got cut in round 13 for misspelling mitigation. ljs.
She must be getting a crazy check on the 3rd of every month because you have to be certified to do stuff like this. A witness said she told them she was burning dog feces and looked completely calm and collected the entire time. Then the trifling piece of crap tried to elude the police. Oh, you know she went to jail but will try to claim she was insane. No ma’am! You were sane enough to get your driver’s license and be driving a damn car and make up a damn lie and to run cause you knew better. If you’re going to do something like this, you need to spend your days and nights being tortured the way she tortured that blessing of a baby. They literally need to wake her up every 24 hours, douse her with lighter fluid and set her on fire so she can see how it feels. Then, let her writhe in pain until the next day.
The poor, defenseless baby passed away from the injuries it sustained later on. I feel soooo bad for that baby. People are literally paying money for babies on the black market to be parents and she is taking her motherhood for granted. If I were the judge in this trial, I would say, Miss Dorvilier, sit right here and then push a button under my chair and electrocute the shit outta her! Excuse me reverend, but this crazy girl got me cussin!
